Lawn Roller

If you build a house, you need to put in a lawn. Pipe was schedule 40 approx. 18" dia and weighed approx 200-250 lbs. Ends were plasma cut out of 1/4" steel with a TIG root and a flux core cap to prevent leakage. Filled with water it weighs approx. 500 lbs. Frame is a tubular with a sheet-metal cover. Axle runs full length of pipe. Works great.

Nice job, you're giving me ideas for a good "practical" project as I've been thinking of replacing my lawn and a roller would probably be a handy doodad for my lawn tractor if I did that :D
