WEll, I bought this welder used about 8 months ago and never got a chance to fire it up. Well I finally went to use it today and of course there are going to be problems.
#1- almost no gas flow when the pedal is pressed
#2- HF start isnt working... I was trying to weld mild steel DC neg... it would scratch start, but would not HF start....
also, I pulled the panels off and I am about to go clean and adjust the points. I blew the entire inside out because it was filthy. I also found a couple wires that were not connected to anything...they were just kinda hanging there.... are there any wiring diagrams? I will take pics of the wires to see if anyone can recognize them....thanks

I own a Syncrowave 180 SD machine myself.
Attached is a wiring diagram from my manual. Hope you can read the jpeg. If not, email me and I will send you a very readable PDF of the same thing.
My best suggestion is to call Miller and speak with one of their tech people. That is going to save you a lot of time and frustration........ pg

Well the first pic is the HF transformer and the wires off it is the 120Vac side so looking at a diagram they are wires #4 and #101. Though being pulled like that, I'd guess that there is problems with the HF transformer.
Best to take this unit into a service facility to find out whether or not it is worth repairing.
