Can one adjust them? I have a gauge and I see there is a barrel valve.I am buying one for my home made tig but it is set at 100 psi

I adjusted mine down with the valve down to about 60 psi and that was a low as I could get it without changing the spring. The adjustment was under the nutcap on the side of the pump. I think I backed it out to lower the pressure but its been awhile since I done that. HTH

I have a homemade cooler that uses a Procon pump. Mine came from the factory set at 50-60 psi. Does that mean that the system pressure is 50-60 psi? I doubt it. If I develop a restriction in the system, then the pressure should (in theory) go to the max pressure and then be bypassed. Does this happen? Of course, but I would speculate that it is very, very rare.

OK, there is the potential (possibly high potential) that I am totally full of crap. I just submit these thoughts for discussion purposes.

Best of luck to you
