First posting ever.....

I have a Miller Syncrowave 300 and am in the market for a remote control amperage adjust for SMAW.

I have located a few RHC-3 Controls but my manual recommends the RHCS-3 Control. What I am in need of is some good information.

Does anyone know if these are interchangeable and if not who or where could I go to for that information?

Also if anyone has any leads on a good used RHCS-3 control feel free to let me know.

Thanks for any information!!!

I just converted a Lincoln pedal for one of these, it's just a standard 1K 2Watt pot with a 5 wire amphenol

So basically a standard RHC-14 will work, just have to change out the amphenol to a 5 pin.

Or you could do what I did....

I had bought an early Syncrowave 350 with the 5-pin amphenol header, but already had a 14 pin pedal and a 14 pin torch mounted control. I switched out the 5 pin header on the Syncrowave with a 14 pin one, instead of vice versa.

That way, my machine is compatible now with all newer pedals and hand controls.

Yep, that would probably be easier,

Pin wires are the same from the 5 pin to the 14
A,B,C,D,E.

BTW, the best place to buy these 14 pin headers is Newark Electronics......
