I have been welding for about 5 years. I am recently getting involved into pipe fitting. I know how to cope pipe using a radius marker, but i would like any info on coping them using mathematics, measurements from the wrap line or just from the cut end.

The real world answer is to buy a Tee fitting.
But if you want to learn how to do it by hand then buy either Franklins book or the Blue book of pipe fitting. Both are good but the blue book is a little better in my opinion.
Making branch connections by hand isn't legal in a lot of piping and it's never efficient when a store bought fitting is available.

Here's a template generator I've written. I solved the equation for the intersection of the two tubes. Naturally I don't remember it off the top of my head. I could probably look it up if you are really interested

Here is a page on how to layout by hand. I use a CAD program normally because its faster but it works the same by hand.
