I have a S-64 wire feeder hooked up to a XMT 304. I need to get new drive rollers for the wire feeder, i bought it used and 3 of the rollers are .035 and 1 roller is .045. I looked in the manual for which rollers to buy but don't know the difference between them all, V groove or U groove. Can someone explain the difference and help a newbie get the right set of rollers. Thanks for your time.

For solid wire I use the v groove. For flux core I use the knerled. For AL I use the U groove.

Send me the .045 and I will send you the .035. V is what you want for hard - solid - wire. weldersales

Thanks for the replys. I have solid wire. Weldersales...Are you saying you want to do an even trade, one .035 wheel for my one .045 wheel?
