I'm new to the site, not to welding just the site, and I am strongly considering buying the Millermatic 180 with auto set. It's got the requirements I need in a Mig. Anyway I haven't really heard much about as far as reviews go and if people like it or not, if its reliable, etc. I imagine it is being a miller, either way just thought i would ask here, seems to be the right place.
Thanks,
Justin

You should find lots of comments on this unit. Both here and at www.hobartwelders.com/mboard also. Each has a search function in the header.
It's got great reviews, but you should also check out the HH187. Another great machine from the sister company and will probably save you some money at the same time.

I recently bought a MM180 and could not be happier with my purchase. This machine is a dream to use! I've only had it a short time (just started on my second spool of wire yesterday), but with Miller's quality and waranty I have no qualms about it's reliability. Yep I like it.......:D

Thanks for the input, I'll check out that Hobart as well. Sorry if it was a repetitive question, I'm not really computer savvy and couldn't find anything online and everything in the shop is mm 252 and 350s as far as mig goes, but thanks for the answers anyway. Hopefully I'll be getting a Tig rig soon so...
Thanks again,
Justin
