I'm able to get an MM210 for $1500, hardly used. If it's in good shape should I get it? I don't know if it comes with all the goody's but if it doesn't would it still be a good deal? I'm a die-hard fan of the MM210 as i've always had good experiences with them before but this would be my first personal machine so I don't know much about spotting good deals on machines. I do know how to tell if it's a good machine or not, I just don't know if it's a good deal. Thanks in advance for your imput.:)

I didn't think you liked a M.I.G:) My LWS has them for $1498.00 + tax and cyber weld has them for $1422.00 with no frieght or tax. Sounds like $1500.00 is what the machine is worth as long as its brand new. Just my 2 cents worth. They are very good welders:D

a MM210 is an excelant choice for a first welder. its tapped so that will help in the lerning process. and its range of weldable matereal thicknesses is great. it can go from 20gage to 1/4" and is a great MIG unit. the $1500 for a used one is not so good unless its got a spool gun, if it has a spool gun then i would say go for it, if no spool gun , then get a new one insted. if your LWS still has one on the floor he will likely make you a good deal on it to get it out to make room for the new MM212.:D

My experience with used welding equipment is that its all hardly used, usually by somebody's grandma, and only on Sundays when she was skipping out on church

$1450 never used. Tweco gun, victor reg., welder cover, and a spool of wire.
The guy baught it for a specific job and the customer screwed him over before he even used it. He had about $2200 in it with all the accesories and now he just wan'ts to get rid of it. I'm giong to go take a look at it tomorow.

Probably worth that if you want one. I paid $1400 for mine last fall and notice the same place has them at $1499 now. That's w/out wire or upgrades.

although if you dont like MIG why bother, just TIG every thing and save the $$.:p
the MM210 is a great MIG unit if you are looking for one go for it.:)
