I know many on this board are vets, and my thanks to you, and my appreciation for all the vets no longer with us. I served during peace time and never got vet status, but I sure have the greatest respect for those who had to serve during war time. Hats off to you. :)

I never served but I am always concious that they are the brave and wonderful people that allowed us all to be free to live in the greatest country in the world.
Thank You.........
Don't downgrade your service just because the terrorists waited until 2001 to attack. You're service means something more. I know I'm posting late on this but I think it's about less than .02 percent of Americans serve in the armed forces and I think is says something about someone who at least fullfills their promis to Uncle Sam! One more thing; Canadians serve with the US forces and we should thank them too. Crazy dang canucks!
THANK YOU!!

Let us not wait till next May to thank our Veterans.
If you see a serviceman we should thank them to mater your thinking on the latest conflict. Remember all of our servicemen today are volunteers just as it was in 1775.
Freedom is not free!
Thank you to all that have served I owe you so much!

I don't agree with the latest conflict (no I'm not a liberal:rolleyes:) but I do have a large amount of respect for all servicemen. I can't stand when ppl get upset at soilders for a certian conflict (ppl spiting on veitnam vets, etc.) after all its not there fault it's a political thing. The fact that soilders risk there lives for ppl that don't care or apreiciate them in adittion to thse who do just makes them that much more honorable.:)

i did not serve because i believed in what our pres. did or said at the time i went in. i served because i believed in our country and what it stands for.weather i agree with the present conflict or not i would serve there without questin. we are never asked if we approve of what we are asked or rather told to do. we do as we are told as we chose to serve our country no matter the choices it makes. never hold a soldier at fault for what the politicians have him do.

It all comes down to respect, discipline and courage.
People who don't understand that of our troops, don't have any of either!
