Im using a millermatic 180 it was welding fine last week, today i started the welder up i can hear the fan start up and run then i tried to weld and when i push the trigger the welder makes this loud buzzing noise with no movement of the wire and no spark. the only diffrence from last week and today was i had put in a new circut breaker and wire to the welder. I checked the 220 outlet and wire on my other arc welder and it seemed to work fine does anyone have any ideas on whats wrong and what i could do about it

Check your outlet to insure you have 220 as I have seen it a few times when any wiring was done / made you only have 110 and the welder will power up the fan will run,but no weld output.

Check your wiring. Sounds like you got one hot swapped with the ground somewhere.

If you added a two-pole breaker to your panel for the welder, make sure that thay are not landed on the same bus. A breaker needs to be landed on each hot bus to get 240-volts accross the two. If you landed them on the same bus in error, there will only be 120V from either circuit breaker to ground, and zero volts accross the two breakers! If you installed two "mini" (half-height) brekaers, it's an easy mistake to make.
