The Miller WE BUILD Campaign Behind the Scenes at World-Class Resto Shop

Get a sneak video peek of the dream machine built by Ringbrothers to be unveiled at SEMA 2013

APPLETON, Wis. (October 15, 2013)  — Miller Electric Mfg. Co. is pleased to release its newest WE BUILD campaign video, “Dreams,” which features the renowned Ringbrothers, known for their high-tech, high-end, resto-mod muscle car builds. The Miller WE BUILD campaign recognizes the hard-working men and women of welding by featuring some of the best operators in the business and encourages welders to share their projects at MillerWelds.com/webuild. Select submissions win monthly prizes and become eligible for a grand prize “build your own” trip to New York City.

 

“‘WE BUILD Dreams’ is an important part of our campaign,” said Rich Thompson, VP marketing, Miller. “The power of welding and fabrication begins with a dream — a vision of what is possible. The Ringbrothers are masters at molding a dream into reality. Users like the Ringbrothers rely on Miller to provide the tools to build their vision.”

 

The Ringbrothers, of Spring Green, Wisc., are building two cars to be unveiled at the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) 2013 Las Vegas show. One of the cars remains a top secret, but the Miller cameras were given a sneak peek of the second car, a 1965 Ford Mustang. Miller sat down with Jim and Mike Ring to talk about their worldwide success, their use of Miller® welding equipment from the very beginning, and what it’s like to build a dream in the just released “WE BUILD Dreams” video.

 

The video is one in a series of welding topical videos that recognize the “we” factor – Miller products working together with our end users in building our world.. The videos — “Energy,” “Industry,” “Tomorrow,” “Commerce” and  “Championships” — highlight the importance of welding in building all aspects of our lives. The successful campaign features the welders’ personal stories, including how they got started and the passion that drives them for perfection. 

 

The WE BUILD campaign encourages visitors to MillerWelds.com to participate in the BUILD & WIN promotion, sharing their own projects every month for a chance to win monthly prizes and a grand prize trip to New York City.

 

Participants submit a photo via MillerWelds.com/webuild of what they have built with Miller equipment. Every month Miller randomly selects 10 winners from the submitted welding projects. The projects are shared at MillerWelds.com and on Miller social media channels. 

 

At the end of the promotion, one grand prize winner will be randomly selected to win a “build your own” all-expenses-paid dream trip to New York City. The grand prize winner will choose from a wide variety of touring, dining and entertainment options in the Big Apple.

 

“WE BUILD is about all welders using Miller equipment,” said Thompson. “Miller has long created the tools welders need to build. Now we have created a forum for operators to express and share their builds and their stories. To show the world what “We” build together.
