The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's (NOAA's) Climate Prediction Center recently reminded Americans that the "Atlantic Basin remains on track for an active hurricane season" and warned that, "With season's peak just around the corner-late August through October-the need for preparedness plans are essential."
