Only the Bobcat 250 uses a Tri-core stabilizer that provides smoother weld output, improved performance and decreased spatter with 7018 electrodes. All without sacrificing the already excellent performance with 6010 electrodes. It also provides higher voltage for those jobs that require extra weld cable length where cable voltage drop is a concern. The Bobcat 250 EFI also produces more weld output at longer duty cycles than the competition.

The optional EFI engine provides:
1. 12% to 27% better fuel economy provides longer run times between fill ups. It saves up to $1,000 per year in fuel - based on 25 hours of usage/week at $3/gallon.

2. Reduced emissions - 33% lower HC+Nox levels and 27% lower CO (EPA 1000 Hour Certification).

3. Easy starting in all climates wit no choke required.

4. Better high-altitude performance (electric fuel pump is recommended)

5. EFI is more reliable when using equipment infrequently.

6. 12,000 watts of generator power and more weld output.
