This custom wood fired smoker and Propane BBQ grill was built from the ground up by the North Idaho College 2nd Year welding program. The trailer, smoker, and grill were welded exclusively with a Miller 350P wire feed welder using short-circuiting and pulse spray transfer modes. A Miller Dynasty 300 GTAW was used to weld the aluminum storage bin. The students designed and built the entire project as a class fabrication project for the 2012 school year. It was a great learning tool , and it gets used often by the college and any community members or businesses that request its use.
