To keep busy during the off-season, my friend Fraser and I built this - from scratch. The hull is fiberglass, the sail sewn by hand, the mast and oars wittled from square pieces of lumber, etc... It is a nesting dinghy - meaning the boat is made of two halves, bolted together with three large fasteners. When taken apart, the forward-half tucks neatly into the rear-half, which allows for easy storage on the deck of the sailboat.
