  • Project Description

This is the Breckenridge Bike Bus. These started in the Netherlands but some call them Pedal Pubs. I was contracted to design and build this vehicle to be more ergonomically easier to interact with than what is available out there already. This vehicle allows for 17 passengers with 10 passengers pedaling. It\'s human powered like a bicycle built for 17! Since this vehicle operates at 9700 ft in elevation, I added an electric motor that is aided by solar panels, to help out when the patrons get tired pedaling. It has a Mustang II front suspension as well as a 4 link coil spring Ford 9\" rear suspension and axle. I styled the front end as a VW Micro Bus look since it\'s the Bike Bus. Completely scratch built!
