  • Project Description

The concept for Pharos3 came from our cities location on the Detroit river as a shipping channel and our great roots to music industry. The structure of the sculpture is fabricated from a variety of angle iron sizes, each decreasing in size as the cubes get smaller. The height is 20\' tall to represent a lighthouse that guides travelers to its location creating a meeting place or a way back home. The size change in the cubes shows the one aspect all people can understand in any language, rhythm. By emphasizing the rhythmic progression of the cube ascending into the sky i can push a real sense of perspective.
