I made these to fit an empty space on my service truck. There is a manual outrigger in between the service body and the welder deck. They pull out when you want to use them and roll up and push in to store them. They are right next to my welder, I just hook up a small set of jumper leads from the quick connects on these reels to the quick connects on my welder. They are made out of 1/4" plates for the main spool supports and 3" box tubing to fit over the outrigger leg of the truck. They are held on to the leg with a pin and set screws, so they can be moved to a nother truck when this one is wore out. There are 3" center tubes that the leads wrap up on, they have a 1/4" thick hub in each end that holds a bearing and that the diamond tread end plates bolt to. The bearings are then on a 3/4" shaft. These are "hot reals" and are insulated by 3/4" thick plastic and nylon spacers on the bolt heads. The clamp that holds the tweeco connectors is made from 1"x2" aluminum bar milled out to hold the connectors and mount with one of the main mounting bolts.
