  • Project Description

    Hot round 3/8 inch steel, curved cold, to shape a spreading flame originating from an ignition point. The 1st photo. 2nd submission is b4 the 180 Aut-Set.

    Build Process

    Several 6'X 3/8" straight rounds are first steelwooled to decrease later work. The HRs are then curved using a homemade process. The puzzle is then layed out untill I am satisfied,(I asked my daughters for a design critique), then the welding process.

    Tools Used

    HR3/8 steel, Miller 180-Auto, 3 types of grinding and pollishing power tools and clear laquer
