    The flower was made by my daughter who is a biologist who loves science and nature. Her art typically captures flowers and nature scene. My daughter Amy made the Hummerbird with copper solder onto a copper screen over a styro pattern. The bird is 33" long. Torch Angle Grinder Sawsall Drill Scissors Solder iron Dremel Grinder

    Build Process

    Used a torch to heat those bars to bend them around a round pattern. Cut the center of the flower with a torch and welded the petals to the center and welded the stem to the center with a Millermatic 175. The stamen were brazed on the center with a torch. And the slingshot steel balls were brazed to the brazing wire.
