  • Project Description

    It's a 3 wheeled belt grinder with a 2 hp Leeson motor for grinding, sanding, cutting or deburring steel, aluminum or anything for that matter. You can use it with the flat platen, 10" wheel or a slack belt attachment. Build Description Stand was built with 2.5" .188 wall square tubing, base plate is 3/8" steel that I cut out with my Plasma, main body stand is 2" .188 wall square as well as the main horizontal body. Tensioner/Tracking arm, arm mount and wheel mount is all .5" cold roll steel. Tooling arm is 1.5" .250 wall square. Work rest, work rest arm and flat grind platen is all made from .5" cold roll. Platen plate is 2" angle 3/16. Platen plate cover is 1/8" steel. Pillow block mounts are .5" cold roll. Materials and Tools Hypertherm 45 Plasma Cutter, Evolution 380 Raptor Steel Saw, 10x50 Mill, 13x40 Lathe, Miller Syncrowave 200 TIG, Lincoln 130 MIG, Various Die Grinders. Drill press, Sears 4x36 1/3hp Belt Sander(Retired)
