    A fire pit that can also be used as a low grill for guests to sit around and visit while grilling steaks or roasting marshmallows. The grill surface rotates open to load with firewood and a removable lower grate can support charcoal use. It's approximately 4 feet square and has a stainless steel rail around it to keep legs off the hot steel, provide an aesthetic element and handle to move it with. Materials and tools: A Millermatic 251, Miller Spectrum 625, small grinder, 4ft X 4ft 1/4 in plate, 4ft X 6ft 3/4in X 9ga expanded steel flatened, 30ft of 2 X 1/4 flat bar, 40ft of 1-1/2 X 1/8 flat bar, 1ft of 2in rod, 1ft of 2in pipe, 2ft of 3/8in rod, 4ft of 2X2X16ga sq tubing, 18ft of tubing for the rail.
