A Job Well Done

Miller proudly introduces Dietrac Technical Institute in Lewisporte, NL, Canada, ArcSmart’s first school in the spotlight!

At Dietrac, Welding Supervisor Scott Barnes prepares students for employment as apprentice welders. Dietrac’s welding program, with a current enrollment of 45 students, consists of SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, GTAW, SAW, Plasma and Arc Air training. Students have access to 38 welding machines; 15 are Miller XMT® multiprocess inverters.

“Our instructors use their welding expertise and the latest Miller welding technology to give our students the competitive edge they will need to succeed in the welding industry,” says Barnes. “We’re judged on the quality of our work, so a job worth doing should be a job well done.”
