Miller WE BUILD Campaign and Sweepstakes Celebrates Hendrick Motorsports Cup Win at Dover International Speedway

Sweepstakes winner to receive ‘build your own’ dream trip to New York City

 

APPLETON, Wis. (Oct. 1, 2013) — Miller Electric Mfg. Co. is proud to take you inside the walls of Hendrick Motorsports as part of the WE BUILD campaign and BUILD & WIN promotion, which recognize the hard-working men and women of welding. The newly released “WE BUILD Championships” video is available just as Hendrick Motorsports driver Jimmie Johnson has taken the checkered flag this past weekend at Dover International Speedway in his quest to capture a sixth NASCAR® Chase for the Sprint Cup championship.

 

“Our WE BUILD campaign recognizes what the men and women of welding, together with Miller® products, bring into this world to make it a brighter, bigger and better place,” said Rich Thompson, VP, marketing, Miller. “Now, it continues with a sneak peek of the expert welders at Hendrick Motorsports. While championships are won on the track, the foundation for success begins with the first weld bead laid on the race car frame by the welding pros in the shop. Excellence like the kind achieved at Hendrick is the essence of the Miller brand.” 

 

Hendrick chassis fabricator Scott Shriver is a pro’s pro and one of the behind-the-scenes team members that help drivers like Johnson win races. Shriver has moved up through the ranks of racing and welding to arrive at the top of his game at Hendrick. Like so many users of Miller equipment, Shriver demands the best tools to build his projects. BUILD & WIN promotion 

As part of the WE BUILD campaign, visitors to MillerWelds.com can participate in the BUILD & WIN promotion, where they can share their own projects every month for a chance to win monthly prizes and a grand prize trip to New York City.

 

Participants submit a photo via MillerWelds.com/webuild of what they have built with Miller equipment. Every month Miller randomly selects 10 winners from the submitted welding projects. The projects are shared at MillerWelds.com and on Miller social media channels. 

 

At the end of the promotion, one grand prize winner will be randomly selected from all entries to win a “build your own” all-expenses-paid dream trip to New York City. The grand prize winner will choose from a wide variety of touring, dining and entertainment options in the Big Apple.
