Miller Voted Top Equipment Manufacturer by Plant Newspaper Readers
- Miller takes top honors in all survey categories
APPLETON, Wis., May, 23, 2008—In a recent reader’s choice survey by Plant Newspaper, Miller was voted the top welding equipment manufacturer, as well as the leader in brand recognition, brand loyalty, best customer service and best range of services. Plant Newspaper, billed as Canada’s Industry Newspaper, has a circulation of more than 30,000 readers in the areas of engineering, plant operations, production, maintenance, MRO, purchasing and executive operating management.
Miller had the highest votes in all categories, including:
- Best Customer Service with 53 percent of the vote; the next highest manufacturer had 30 percent.
- Best Range of Services with 47 percent of the vote, compared to 39 percent for the next nearest company.
- Brand Loyalty with 52 percent of the vote, compared to 36 percent for the nearest competitor.
- Brand Recognition, with 76 percent of the voters being very familiar with Miller. The next highest competitor earned 72 percent in this category.
- Best Overall Welding Equipment Manufacturer with 48 percent of the vote, compared to 34 percent for the next highest competitor.
