Bobcat™ 250 and Trailblazer® 302 Welder/Generators Now Rated for 11,000 Watts of Output

APPLETON, Wis., January 23, 2008—Miller Electric Mfg. Co. has increased the output of its Bobcat™ 250 and Trailblazer® 302 Kohler gas-powered and Kubota diesel-powered welder generators to an Accu-Rated™ 11,000 watts of useable peak power, which enables the units to better handle sudden electrical loads. “Accu-Rated” is Miller’s guarantee the welder/generator will provide the stated peak power for a minimum of 30 seconds at 104 degrees Fahrenheit.

“With 11,000 watts of power, the Bobcat 250 and Trailblazer 302 are better able to tackle increased power loads commonly encountered during motor starts,” says John Leisner, product manager, Miller Electric Mfg. Co. “These are very versatile machines. The Bobcat and Trailblazer are perfect for maintenance repair, fabrication, construction, farm and ranch applications or as emergency back-up generators for your home.”

Customers who use a Bobcat 250 or Trailblazer 302 as an emergency back-up generator also benefit from the output increase because there is less chance of tripping a breaker or allowing a voltage drop that could harm motors, when an air conditioner or refrigerator starts.

All models also have large, 12-gallon fuel tanks for long run time and high-impact protective armor with covers to protect the unit on the job site and during transport. Complete product sheets and comparison charts are available on the Miller Web site at http://www.millerwelds.com/products/generators/

The engine manufacturers separately warrant the engines. All other components are covered by Miller’s True-Blue® three-year factory warranty For more information or to download a product spec sheet, visit Miller's Web site, call 1-800-4-A-MILLER (800-426-4553), fax 877-327-8132 or write to Miller Electric Mfg.
