APPLETON, Wis., September 28, 2006—Miller Electric Mfg. Co. announces that Kaptain Robbie Knievel will be making personal appearances and signing autographs in Miller’s booth (#23713 in Racing & Performance pavilion) at this year’s SEMA show in Las Vegas. Appearances are scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 2nd and Friday, Nov. 3rd from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Knievel’s infamous 1999 Grand Canyon Jump Bike and a new 2006 City of Champions Custom Chopper, a trophy-on-wheels honoring the Ironworkers of Pittsburgh, PA, will be on display all week.
Kaptain Robbie Knievel, long-time user of Miller equipment, has performed numerous successful jumps and launched his newest venture, Knievel Custom Cycles.
“Throughout my career I’ve broken over 25 bones, I’m quick to learn what works and what doesn’t. I trust Miller’s welding equipment because it works as hard as I do. The last thing I need to worry about is a broken bike frame from a hard landing,” says Kaptain Robbie Knievel.
Visitors to the Miller booth will also have the opportunity to see the latest welding and plasma cutting equipment and participate in hands-on MIG and TIG welding and plasma cutting demonstrations. SEMA will take place in Las Vegas, Nev., Oct. 31-Nov. 3, 2006.
