Training Course Option #1

Automated Axcess Welding Equipment Training Course:

This three day class, designed specifically for Certified Service Technicians (CST) and Technical Sales personnel, qualifies their specific distributor location in the AMS functional discount program when attended by a CST. Its design teaches students how to set up the Axcess equipment and optimize performance. It instructs the CST's in using the "tool box" approach to pick the correct welding process for each application; "The right tool for the right job". Students learn the benefits of each welding process (Accupulse, Accuspeed, Accucurve, and RMD) and where to use them. After learning the equipments capabilities through classroom and lab exercises, each student receives a Palm Pilot, File Manager software and Service Pak software. The students learn the proper use of the Palm Pilot and File Management software to "Axcess" advanced functions in the power supply. Instruction in locks, limits, configurations, copying and pasting programs, creating permanent system back-ups and hot-syncing to a PC empowers the students to optimize system performance. The Service Pak software allows them to diagnose welding and communication issues with automated welding equipment. Students learn the principles of network diagnostics inside the Axcess and board level trouble shooting. The class reinforces principles such as pre-power checklist, inverter testing, reading prints, and service support across the Axcess family. A tour of the Miller Electric Mfg.
